Since I was small I was fascinated how different I could see the world, depending how I look to it. The same could become so very different. As I got the first time to hold a camera, it was like it belonged to me since ever. I could connect my innere world with the outside world.
I like to walk with my camera, it is a form of meditation. The goal is to get in the flow with the things that surround you. My pictures are no paintings, but they should satisfy the people who see them, like a painting does.
I really love the people I photograph, they are my friends. Portraits reveal a desire for human connection; a desire so strong that people who don’t know me, open themselves to the camera, all in the hope that at the other end someone will be watching, someone who will laugh or suffer with them.
